“Heart of Light” labradorite necklace
This labradorite necklace is a story encased in silver – tranquil, but full of depth. In the center of the pendant is a heart-shaped labradorite, which shimmers in shades of purple, pink and blue, creating a natural play of light. I made the form of the pendant by hand, taking care of the soft lines and organic character. Above the stone are delicate carved silver leaves that subtly shield it. This detail alludes to nature motifs and emphasizes the protective, intimate nature of the necklace. The whole piece strikes a balance between decorativeness and tranquility of form.
The process of creation began with work on the shape, and then the pendant was cast and finished in sterling silver. The surface is not perfectly smooth, so it retains the trace of the hand and natural texture. This is jewelry created in process, not in series.
