Silver necklace with moonstone – Still Moon

I made this necklace quietly, without hurrying. I wanted it to be simple and light, and at the same time I wanted the stone to play the first fiddle in it. Moonstone reacts to light very subtly. When you move around, there are cool blues, light reflections and a milky glow. Nothing intrusive – rather, a quiet glow that you notice only after a while.

The stone has a natural texture, with fine scratches and transitions visible under the light. It is not perfectly smooth and this is what makes it look lively. I made the setting by hand from sterling silver. I wanted a clean form and good proportions, without unnecessary ornamentation.

The pendant is slender and oblong, it sits well on the neck and does not overwhelm. It can be worn casually – with simple clothes, but also with quieter, more elegant ensembles. Fine details at the bottom of the setting add softness and gentle movement.
