Silver earrings with kyanite “Flowers of the Night”
These sterling silver earrings with kyanite were created entirely by hand – from the first shape in wax to the casting in silver using the lost wax method. I modeled each petal separately, so the earrings are not perfectly symmetrical. As a result, they look like small, organic sculptures inspired by nighttime nature.
The form of the flowers is expressive, but not overwhelming. Delicate irregularities and subtle texture make the light softly lay on the surface of the silver. The oxidized finish highlights the details and adds depth to the piece.
